Designing The Perfect Promotional Displays

Making the best use out of promotional displays insures that the money spent is a cost effective investment and suits the business as intended. There are numerous types and styles of signs, logos, prints, and other mediums designed for getting more out of the business dollars. Knowing how to construct the perfect promotional displays can take some time, but the effort is well worth the final result.

There are a multitude of businesses that benefit from booths or exhibits. Whether business means a booth at the local food show or an exhibit at the regional fair, having better design concepts helps guarantee maximum returns on the investment. In fact, the Return on Investment or RoI is a vital factor when it comes down to whether or not it is worth spending the resources on such exhibits. Well-designed units are always a positive RoI.

How can a business make sure that its promotional displays really stand out in a crowd?

Color Scheme: Colors are an essential part of the creative process. In addition, colors can elicit specific responses from visitors quickly turning those visitors into potential clients. By choosing the right colors, the potential client is subjected to specific feelings as defined by the booth or exhibit coloration.

For instance:
• purple is often associated with wisdom, royalty, and celebrations making a superb secondary color;
• red is often associated with danger, passion, and excitement making red the perfect color for businesses wanting to offer exciting products or services to a client;
• orange is often associated with playfulness, energy, and vibrancy making orange the color for a business wanting to attract that playful crowd.
• yellow is for businesses that want to attract an alert, happy, and fulfilling group of people making it a favorite in the hospitality industry.

Size and Shape: Believe it or not, promotional displays come in all sizes and shapes. If that ready-made unit is not the proper dimensions then most companies offer a way to customize the dimensions to perfection. The right dimensions are defined by the general needs of the business. However, keep in mind that the space leased for the display is going to depend on outside forces other than the business owner.

Having a booth space of 12’ by 12’ is not going to fit a 14’ by 14’ exhibit. A general rule of thumb is to choose a size that meets all the needs without going overboard.

Right Producer: Once all of the decisions have been made when it comes to the look and dimensions of the potential exhibit or booth, the time has come to choose a sign company capable of producing the specified product at a price that will blend easily within any budget. Look for a producer that promotes a positive customer experience not just before the purchase but after the purchase, too.

There are a number of considerations to ponder when it comes to designing the right promotional displays for a company’s needs. Whether a business needs something small or large, it is important to find the right color schemes, the correct dimensions, and an experienced company capable of producing the best graphical design and product for the business fitting easily within the budget.
